Is very dead

I went for my first session with the PT at the gym. ::dies:: Just goes to prove just how out of shape I am. The only thing I stumped the trainer with was getting my legs to the burn point when I stretched. That's the one thing I can thank dance class for. Dance screwed up my knees big time, but gave me the ability to just about fold myself in half with little muscle burn. Ha!
Didn't help much that I was was out way later than I should have been yesterday. My boss(es) threw a graduation party for me and the YA Librarian. It was so much fun, and we all agreed that with the move to the new building looming that we should have another party/picnic again soon. Got some kick ass gifts too.
I got a little money tree/flower thingie from the lady who retired a couple of years ago, I got a night shirt that says 'read' in kanji from my department supervisor, a book called 'Furry Logic' from the school librarian (who used to work with us), a gift cert to my favorite hotdog joint and one to the dairy farm down the street for ice cream, a $95 gift card for Borders (sweet), and best of an autographed (to me) copy of the first chapter of Neil Gaiman's new book 'Anansi Boys'. ::dances for joy::
And here I was so jealous that my boss was in the same room as Neil the other day. And so grateful she waited in line for an hour and 45 minutes for his autograph and she doesn't even know what he writes.
Eeek! Thunder! Be back later!
