I like it very much. I can't wait for the subtitled version though. Without decent manga translations, it was really hard to follow the plot as closely as I would have liked.
Ritsuka is far more visibly standoff-ish in the anime than he is in the manga. In the manga he gets all excited and bouncy when he finds out that Soubi knew Seimei. There was none of that on his face, but there was a touch of it in is voice. Kind of an awed sound.
The kiss between Ritsuka and Soubi was very cute though. *_*
I miss Ritsuka's personality flipping. He does flip from that quiet/depressed funk, to the normal, cheerful 12 year old, but not to the extent and frequency he does in the manga.
I'm interested to see if they keep his mother's behavior in. She's quite scary, so who knows if the powers that be want to push that envelope.
