A little of everything

kikoteiSo, still no heat at work. Legally we can't be there under those conditions, so they let us off again. Instead I got to go out to breakfast with two of the other girls and then we went out to do a little window shopping before heading home. All in all a nice morning.
Last night I also started working on some new cross stitch patterns. I'm going to start working on a series of mini kanji, usually about 2-3 inches square. I've got a list of potentials, but if anyone else has ideas for single character words that would look good stitched I'm all ears. Also I want more of the varigated colors under the cut. They are WAY too much fun to work in.

"Ai" stitched with varigated red/maroon to get that neat color change.
Using an old mini plastic hoop.
