1. Guilty yaoi pleasures -- what's the pairing you're most embarrassed to admit supporting?
Tokiya/Koganei from Recca no Honou. Talk about age difference and being underage. ::sweat::
2. You've won your dream vacation! You've got three weeks and an unlimited budget. Where would you go and what would you do?
Japan, duh. But I don't want to got to all the touristy spots. A few would be fine, but I want to go to places the locals go.
3. A 10-year-old girl comes up to you in the library and asks you for advice. She's used to reading by-the-numbers series like the Babysitters Club, the Saddle Club and that ilk, but is really eager to try something new and challenging. She'll read any genre. What three books would you recommend to her and why?
Only three. Phooey.
The Redwall series. Classic hero archetype stories, with quests and the like, but all the characters are animals like mice, rabbit, rats, weasels and birds. Also has two completely different chronologies you can read them in. The Artemis Fowl books. Rather amusing, and well written stories about a 12-year-old evil genius who kidnaps a fairy and demands a ransom in gold to restore his family fortune. And last, but not least, The Thief Lord. It's about these two young boys who run away after they've been told that they'll be split apart in an adoption. They escape to Venice and join up a gang of runaways who follow a boy known as the Thief Lord, who steals jewels from weathly homes to buy warm clothes for his friends.
4. Hugh Jackman or Viggo Mortensen? Discuss.
Viggo. But I prefer Viggo with the scruffy Aragorn look. It's mostly his voice I like. The physical package doesn't hinder my opinion either. ::grin:: Hugh is certainly attractive and drool worthy, but I could stare at Viggo all day and not be bored.
5. What is your totem animal/daemon and why?
Cat. Definately cat. I get those low, sleepy moments where I could drop anywhere and sleep. I sleep most comfortably in twisted and contorted positions. I also have those strange hyperactive moments where everything around me seems slow and I can't stop moving and fidgeting.
