1x2 Project Week 8

Yay for Monday! I'm still wiped out from yesterday though. I went with my friend and her hubby to see 'There Will Be Blood' and got home way late after hanging out with them and being super dorky for a few hours after. I probably would not have picked that movie myself. It was extremely well done, don't get me wrong, but I would have picked something different and maybe watched it when the DVD came out.

This week I didn't get as much done as I was planning. I lost Friday, which is usually my big night as there's nothing much TV I like, because of the movie night we've started doing for the pre/teens in the area. It's working out quite well. Most of the parents around here are leary of letting their 12 year olds go to the movies alone these days, we monitor the room and secure the building so that it's just us and the kids. Plus it's less driving that has to be done, the closest movie theatre is at least 20 minutes away. Safe and close makes for happy parents.

No flash on flower mode, more skin! OMG, it's starting to look like a body part!


Flash on flower mode. The darker shades on Heero are starting to grow on me as I fill in the rest of his chest.

Now, I should try to find something for lunch. I'm terribly hungry.

T. and I went to see "There Will Be Blood," and at the end of the movie I turned to him and said, "Well, that just filled me with faith in humanity!" Well-made movie, but DAMN it was dark...

Exactly my thought when I saw it. Wonderfully made, wonderfully acted, but so very, very dark.

Though I can't take the the end as seriously now without thinking of the MV we found on YouTube done to that stupid 'Milkshake' song.
