Ahh, the joys of New England weather
Feb. 13th, 2007 06:54 pmFinally, snow. Well, not yet. Later maybe. If Canada doesn't shift it away.
The only problem is tomorrow. The forecast cast calls for freezing rain all day. And I'm supposed to work all day. Hell, no, I ain't coming in. I'm going to get up at 7am and call out. Then promptly return to bed. Snow I will drive in. Freezing rain, I don't mess with ever.
I would like tomorrow off. Now that the smut muse is flopping about like a fish out of water (all signs pointed to dead until last night) I would like taking the time to write.
Now, back to *pretending* to work!

Date: 2007-02-14 02:53 am (UTC)Yeah, my supervisor and I talked it over. We're both probably calling in tomorrow morning. I'll just have to remember to actually get up on time, rather than punch the alarm for that lovely extra 15. And I must sound coherent before I start making calls. Last thing I need to do is worry my boss by sounding like I've had a stroke or something.
