Kyuubi on the Cube

I'm ever so glad that this house is full of gaming dorks. Because I actually *had* a Gamecube so that I could pick up the Naruto 'Clash of Ninja' game.

It's full of crack. Anime canon crack. ::dies in amusement::

Some things are fairly suprising about the game, while others are not.

Character breakdown:
-Naruto is a fair character to fight with. He's not good, but he's not bad either.
-Zabuza can be slow as hell swinging that huge ass sword, but damn does he hit *HARD*.
-Haku kicks much ass. ::hearts Haku in all his nail polish wearing glory::
-Sasuke is a bitch. In all ways.
-Sakura is suprisingly one of the better fighters in here. She's easy to beat, but playing her, she rocks.
-Lee is about the same as Naruto. The lack of ninjitsu is a pain, but he makes up for that in power.
-Iruka is probably one of the better fighters. I actually get the higher one player ranks with him.
-Kakashi is Kakashi.


CRACK! In all it's cell shaded glory
-All of the dialogue. ::is very dead::
-Sasuke brushing off his pants after he wins a round. Because he brushes off his crotch.
-Another crotch. Iruka's crotch is strangly eye catching. Might be how the seam in the vest and pants line up.
-'1,000 years of Pain' and Icha Icha Paradise. -_-
-And then there's the KakaIru crack (and I wasn't looking for it):
-Everytime Iruka and Kakashi face off, Iruka says 'Show me what you've got.' and Kakashi replies
with 'Careful, don't overdo it.' ::snork::
-Then everytime I get Iruka fighting Haku he always asks if there is someone precious to Iruka.
-And you can play as Kyuubi. ^____^ I was hoping for a tail, but this is really only through team 7's first major mission, so it ends with the Zabuza and Haku stuff, and Kyuubi!Naruto doesn't have a tail at that point.

So, the move to the new building is going though and tomorrow morning I have to report at the old building to help get everything started. ::way excited for this::

I only looked at the last page of pictures. It looks like a really beautiful building.

It's beautiful and enormous. It's practically an embarrassment of space. The old building is about 14-15,000 square feet. The new building is more than double that. The upstairs alone (the kid's room where I work) is the size of the old building.

Thanks. ^_^ We did way better on our first day than anyone expected. The movers were hauling such ass that they moved two full truck loads by 3 this afternoon. One of the tech services ladies and I were joking that we needed to give these guys valium so we could keep up with them.

My supervisor and I are thinking that as our books came up first (and I've already dug into the unpacking) that we'll be done in half the time that it will take the main desk and we can sit back and relax for the rest of the month we'll be closed.
