As soon as I get off shift tonight I'm gonna go buy a TV. I should probably wait til the weekend or closer to Thanksgiving, but I swung through Kmart this afternoon and the prices for the 20' sets were well within my 'tolerable price to pay for electronics' range. I certainly can't go larger without having to remove furniture, plus I have to take into consideration the AC unit in the summer hanging out of the window behind the TV. Sucks to live in such a closet of a room sometimes.

Unless Dad talks me out of it when I meet him there. Or Mom makes him talk me out of it.

I've had all I can stand of the squealing and agony from my 13'.

Good luck! It sucks to have to watch a TV that has a screen that's smaller than most monitors.

Thanks! ^_^ I found a decent one for about $160 with taxes and an extra replacement warrantee.

Fortunately for me with the 13', it's not that far from where I sit to watch. It sucked, but it was liveable for the time being. Had no real excuse to buy a better one. ^_^

Yay for you! And really, a bigger TV is better for your eyes. ::nodnod:: Hey, it's a good excuse! ^_-

I like that reasoning. ::grins::

I wound up with a 20' Pure Flat (still tube though). And spent only about $160 all together. I may go out and buy a universal remote, because the one that came with sucks pretty hard.
