kikoteiAm I the only one okay with the Naruto dub?
As far as dubs go it's better than some of the drek that's been on. Normally I'm a sub snob. Total purist for the subs. Most dubs leave me cold. This isn't nearly as bad as it could have been.
Yes, the actors are struggling and over doing the pronouciation, but they are doing a reasonable job with the names. I thought the name and term (if they even left in half the terms) pronouciation was going to be the ultimate nightmare. Mangled to the point of being unrecognizable.
Yes, Naruto's voice tends to grate at times, but it doesn't not work.
But who am I to speak. The only comparison I have to the original is the Viz manga translations and a few caught minutes of the movie at the Sasuga booth at Otakon.
