That's so amazing. You make me want to get back into cross stitching just so I can make the same picture. Too bad I never learned to make patterns when I was stitching.
Patterns are easy enough. I actually use a fairly simple Paint style program to make my patterns. If you want I can run a picture through for you. Usually doesn't take more than a few days to clean it up for stitching.
I love the one of them in Preventers uniform. That's very cool. I was also thinking about the picture that I use for my LJ layout, the one taken from my cel. I'm very partial to that image, and it looks like it would be fairly easy to do.
You could probably make some nice commissions making patterns for GW fans. I'll gladly commission a 1x2 pattern from you, when you have time for it.
The cel would be the easiest for certain, far less cleaning and correction to do, but I'll start with which ever one you want.
I just need to know what size you want to work in. Mine is in 22, which is itty bitty. I would personally recommend 16 or 18, but it should still look okay in 14.
It's something to think about. There are enough people out there who like working on cross-stitch. I can work on it starting today.
It's been ten years since I did my last cross stitch, so maybe I should start with something easier, like the cel. Besides, I always think of that as my signature picture (along with the one I use for my website).
I don't think I could do 22 any more, but I'm up for trying 18.
I bought GW patterns from someone on eBay, and yours is MUCH nicer.
Yay! I'm just about done. I just need to go through it, make sure all the stitches look good and are in the right place, then I need to do some color checks. It may look okay on the monitor, but the actual colors may not be quite right.
Guess what I received yesterday. ^___^ It looks like it's going to be a great project for getting me back into cross stitching. It's not super complicated, and it looks like fun.
Thanks again! *is hoping to at least buy supplies this weekend*
Yay! Yeah, I tried to keep it somewhere in the middle as far as how complicated it was, because I know it's been a while since you've cross-stitched.
Just double check the thread colors when you buy them. They looked right on the computer screen, but there is a chance the actual colors may be off a bit. I need to pick up the color chart if I'm going to make patterns on a regular basis. ^____^

Date: 2008-06-30 05:56 pm (UTC)The one with Heero in the blue shirt and Duo in the red pimp suit would also work, but that would take a lot more cleaning up.
The rockstar one would also work, though the copy I have would need a lot of cleaning up and color correction.
And that's just what I have on hand that's usable. I can also peak through my 'Memorials' discs and see if there's anything else.

Date: 2008-06-30 08:04 pm (UTC)I'm running it through the system as a 22 to get the details right, but if I did the math right it should scale down to an 18 very easily.
