I love randomly poking through my recs on the amazon site and finding something suprising. Like the Only the Ring Finger novels.

Yes, there are spelling errors and more than a few dropped 'you's, but there's something great about having the pocket size book to read at lunch and no one knows what I'm reading. (except Heather, but she's a boylove fan too)

Also, very promising to hear, even if it's rather sudden, the Tactics anime is finally licensed. Yay! Manga Video got it, but I can't complain too much, they do decent translations. I just wish they would announce the number of discs. From the time of 150 on the first disc I can only assume 3, but I hate assuming things. EDIT: Actually, in double checking how many episodes there actually are, it would be more like 4 or 5. 4 if they didn't mind cramming the last episode in, 5 if they separate things a little better down the road.

Nice to hear about Tactics anime... but, it would be nicer if ADV manga could get on the stick and release the freaking manga.

I'm really beginning to hate ADV manga, actually. They have a number of titles I like, but can't seem to publish. The thing about them that really cheeses me off, though, is that there is no way to actually contact anyone, aside from that stupid "send us a message" form that no one ever reads.

ARGH!

hehe, don't worry about the rant. I take every opportunity to bitch about ADV manga and their apparent lack of interest in actually doing any work. Jerks left me hanging on Gamerz Heaven!

With Tactics I just gave up on ever seeing the rest in English (and in annoyance over Muu-chan and Sugino's apparent gender operations) and bought the rest in Japanese so I could at least pretend I was keeping up. ^_^

That whole lack of contact thing just screams 'we really don't care about you, we just want your money'. I know I've tried to get in touch with them. Sometimes I've been tempted to do a WHOIS and see if that gets me a contact email.

It really does seem like they don't give a shit and there is no one to contact, either. The ADV films side of the website has current updates and ways to contact, but I've tried contacting them about ADVmanga and gotten no response.

WHOIS just gets you a "registered with network solutions" reply, no contact information at all.

I enjoyed The Lonely Ring Finger too, although the errors did annoy me! I think that I will get the second one when it comes out and I definitely want the Gravitation novel ^_^!
