For the Buffy fans I know.

I just spotted this on my Amazon Rec list. A 40 disc set (the entire series + a bonus disc) for $170. That's a *fabulous* deal. One that is making me seriously consider picking it up. I was never a faithful follower of the series, except for the year I lived in Philly. My roommate, on the other hand, loved the series. For a set that totals about $4.25 a *disc*, I'm giving it consideration for after the holiday. Even at the full list price it's still a fantastic deal working out to about $5 a disc.

Speaking as someone who's bought the entire series season by season? That's insane. But also kind of cool, because it'll be easier to get people hooked. XD

There are some series that just need to be bought season by season. The inner fangirl will do with nothing else. I was doing that with Stargate, but at season 9, I've pretty much fallen out of the series, Michael Shanks' physical attractiveness aside. I think they lost all the writers and directors of the first four seasons, those guys put together some of the best, most quotable episodes.

I agree, this new, inexpensive box is a great way to get newbies hooked. ::grins::

I think I may have to wait longer than I planned. My brother oh so helpfully reminded me about my plans to buy an MP3 player. ^_^;;
