I feel sooo accomplished ^^

I spent from New Years day until Friday or Saturday (the days kinda blended -_-) working on my costume for this summer con season. And I made a lot of progress!

For some one who waits until the last minute and usually winds up sewing the costumes by hand, the sewing machine has been something of a guilty pleasure.

Once I finish the main part of the costume I'll start worrying about the accessories and hair issues. I may have to dye my hair, I don't think the wig will work logistically or practically. The costume is already hot and heavy enough as it is. All those layers. ::fans self:: I've just never dyed my hair before. Much less considered dying it purple....

So, Sakka-chan, any chance of seeing you at the cons as my other half? ^___^

That costume is gonna kick ass! ^_____^ As for whether I'll be your other half... I don't know how this redhaired obasan could pull off cosplaying a 14-year-old boy with black hair and bleached-blond bangs. (I certainly can't do 12-year-old Hikaru -- he's WAY too short! ^^;;;) But I'm always up for a challenge, so who knows? ^_~

Of course, you could always try bribery... ::evil grin::

You pulled off cosplaying Shuichi pretty well. ^_^

As for the hair, we could always dig up a blond wig and dye it black ^_^;;;

And with the Hikaru being short thing, you're shorter than me, so it's all good. ::grins::

hmmm, bribery... what kind of bribery are we talking here? Scans of my Isumi+Waya dj or some kind of ficcie?

I'll probably even have to drag the crusty old thing to work with me, but we'll figure something out. ::smiles::
