Been flipping through some of the new manga I got yesterday. I really like Death Note. Light is a nut-case, maniacal cackling and all, and L just amuses me with his apparent dislike of shoes and constantly wiggling toes. I just wish that Kino or Asahiya had had volume 1, I'm a little disjointed starting at 2.

And just for Sakka-chan because Engrish is insanely funny:

"I'm coming to eat your precious thing."

Death Note? Actually, I think I saw a whole slew of Death Note manga at my local Waldenbooks store... in actual Japanese! O_o Don't ask me what the heck they were do ing there, I can check this weekend and see if they have volume 1.

Yeah, Walden's oddly enough can get Japanese books now. Even mine, in this rinky little town, had one. I'm not sure what the title is, other than the fact it's from Jump.

That would be super if they have 1 and you can snag it. And I would highly recommend it for you too. It's the same artist as Hikaru no Go, so the art is very very well done.

Got the CD, but I couldn't find the manga. It was too new for BookOff, and neither Kino or Asahiya carry much in the way of BBC titles
