I think it was a combination of klutziness and stupidity today. Got to school about an hour early, which was okay, because I thought I was going to have trouble on the roads.
Anyway, after rejoicing that I finally got a decent parking space because the snow apparently kept all the other commuters away this morning, I scrambled out of my car to catch the shuttle that had just shown up. Now I probably could have forgone the shuttle, but I park all the way at the far end of campus, and besides I like the driver of that particular shuttle. He's this sweet older guy that takes the time to get to know people, and calls all the girls his honey's and the like.
So I got to the shuttle and what happens. My entire bag falls open and every single paper and book hits the snowy pavement.
>_<
Fortunately only a few papers got water damaged because I only had a couple on my clip board, most of my notes were already transfered to my binder.
>_<
A hard copy of my GW fic, including notes I had not transfered to computer, was in those papers. Fortunately the notes are still legible. Arg!
