Kept seeing the commericals for them and I'm always on the look out for ways to protect our CDs and DVDs at work. Library patrons absolutely brutalize discs. It's the strangest phenomenon. A brand new DVD or music CD will go out and within 3 circulations the thing already has wicked scratches and stains that boggle the mind.
I tried out a couple of them already. One I put on a music CD and the other on a DVD. Both ran perfectly fine and with no noticable distortion in playback. You do have to make sure the disc is clean before you pop one of those suckers on. The only thing I haven't checked yet is whether or not a CD with existing scratches will work properly. ::runs off to test::
