Things are possibly changing

New job type changes.
New job that actually pays the ALA minimums for the position, which is double what I'm making now, more in-line with a real world job. And it's not that much different from what I do now.
So I feel slightly queasy at the thought of leaving a place that's been good to me for 10 years, but I can't screw around with this salary anymore. What they pay us is just not realistic with the cost of living here or anywhere. Everyone else on staff is either younger than me so that it's not so odd living at home, or married and not the primary wage earner.
