Rainy Sunday doldrums

I've been up for like two hours and I'm already boooored. Not to mention the fact that I should still be asleep right now.

I've got the house completely to myself with most of the family on vacation, there's nothing distracting on TV, and I can't go out. Well, I suppose I could, but the cat's not doing well again and I'm keeping an eye on her. And of course all make worse by the conversion with my mom while she's on route to vacation. I know she's trying to be soothing, but she always seems to fail at that.

Funny thing with the cat, even though the tumor site is all swollen and she's licking all the fur off, she still eating and drinking and harrassing the birds through the screen porch. And getting her self stuck to the screen, dangling like a hairy ornament.

I need something to do, but I've got some serious motivation problems here. I've got website projects to work on and I so don't have the energy. I could take this time to write, but I don't have the energy for that either. Man, this totally sucks...

Bask in the glory(?) of weekday afternoon cartoons from the 80's my fellow dorks.

I can't keep up with them. All of my childhood favorites are suddenly (and finally) being released on DVD. I already ordered Darkwing Duck, but in a way that's for my father. We used to call him Megavolt (see the resemblance ::evil grin::) and even bought him the little Megavolt toy that sparked to keep in his truck while he was driving all over the east coast and Canada.
