Why did I agree to take the Saturday 7 hour shift. Will someone help me find my lost will power to say 'no'?

Problem is that technically I wasn't going to be paid for today if I hadn't shifted by vacation hours around to accommodate. Technically I still took the time off, but I didn't use the vacation. I just shifted the hours I would have worked Friday to 'do-over' on Saturday.

Otherwise I would have earned another 7 hours of comp time I can't even use because I never get a day off.

Heck, I never get to use my vacation time I keep losing it because when I want to take a day off I can't. While everyone else just blithely takes the time without checking the schedule!

ARGGGGG!!!

If I didn't like my bosses and my uber flexible schedule in terms of classes I would have quit months ago. We need more help, we're so painfully understaffed and underpaid.. ::sigh::
