Movie night
Jan. 21st, 2008 12:55 amAnd i'm so NOT going to sleep well tonight.
Me and some friend were gonna have movie night in, but then decided at the last minute that a movie out (despite the bitter temperatures was a better idea) . So off we haul to the mall, had a quick dinner, and found seats for 'The Orphanage'. Which I totally thought was directed by Guillermo del Toro, but it seems I was wrong, he was involved in getting it released in the states.
It was a great movie, with believable plot twists, but CREEPY as all get out. It was fairly bloodless (except for the car accident. ICK!) and while a number of the creepy moment I expected and wasn't surprised by, I did nearly jump out of my seat a couple times. It was sad, but at the same time there was this underlying happiness too.
So I think I'll stay up a few hours and watch something sweet and pleasant and completely innocuous. Maybe Cardcaptor Sakura or KKM.
