Ugh, costume rush

Doing some repair work and attempting to wash pieces that need it badly.

I'm trying to clean up my white over piece for my Sai costume, but the holes for the ribbon were never sewn or button-holed, so I'm really nervous about washing it. So I'm debating what to do. I'm thinking the glue is the wrong choice and I'm pondering instead quick basting the fabric.... As a matter of fact I think that will work better. ::goes to scrape off the glue::

So annoyed that I'm working tomorrow, but I guess I'll have to try getting up early to finish the last bits. 'Cause I need to crash early to make Amtrak in the Wednesday morning.

Edit: Okay. Looks like I ruined one sleeve. I may try to pull it off and nuke it to get the glue a little more pliable. Worse comes to worse I'll try hitting up the quilting store down the road before work. Probably not though, 'cause if I do that I'll have to redo the whole thing as I doubt a tumble in  the washer will get the old one back to crisp white.

Also, almost lost one of my Colonel stars, but turns out it fell into the cuff. NotwI just need to track down the gloves and watch.
