kikoteiI stopped at the evil bookstore last night to see about getting this over charging crap fixed. I had talked to my boss the day before and mentioned what had happened. It seems that just about every one in her family has gotten screwed the same way. -_-
So stopped in, explained the situation, and the woman at the register agreed that the clerks goofed bigtime. So she double checked with the night manager about whether or not she could issue me a refund. It was agreed that they would credit me $14 and change to my credit card. Hurray!
Originally the clerk had tried to refund me on two $10 books, but the rules are as always the least two expensive books. Oh well, that's always been the rule and I'm not going to fuss over $4.
Turns out that dummies didn't know when that particular sale on manga ended. Hence the signage still being up. The only one who knew the sale was over was the computer. Figures.
I'm also very proud of myself for resisting the urge to buy *more* manga. ::pats self on the back:: It was hard, but with going off to NYC this weekend, I just want more money to play with. ::grins::
And now, back to dorking on Gargoyles season 2. ^__________^
