Had a day off today. Twas great. With the snow in the forcast I decided that as soon as it started to snow, regardless of road conditions, I was not driving the 45 minutes to school. And with the weather it would have been a good 15-30 minutes longer of a ride. >_<

So I slept in and worked on my costume off and on all day between watching Flame of Recca (Mikagami! ::drool::) and all those cheesy civil court shows.

While I didn't get much costume work done, other than some correcting of the collar on the undertunic, I feel accomplished as I didn't have to take the whole tunic apart to fix the collar. It still doesn't look 100% right, but it's better than it was. If I still feel twitchy about it closer to con season and the rest of the costume is done, I'll redo it again.

Now I just have to start thinking of a way to make the pants balloon a bit. Any thoughts readers? I'm thinking quilt batting, but that's quickly deflated by the heat issue. This costume is heavy enough already.

would some type of netting work? To give it the stiffness of bagging out with out being overly warm? Hm... or something. ^__^

I was thinking netting later that night. I think I can live with the scratchness. ^__^
