Yay! Day off!

I got today off, I have to go in Saturday instead, but this is pretty nice having Friday off. Works out that my mom has to work this Friday, so I gots the house to myself. So I'm catching up on my torrents and cleaning. I seriously need to vacuum >_< the dust bunnies are ready to lead a coup. I figure I'll do some homework catch up too if I have the time.

I picked up the first of the Clamp no Kiseki books last night. I wasn't expecting it to be at the bookstore, ship date is listed as 4/12 on the website, but they had it in the back. Sweet. $30 was a bit pricy, but if you think of it as buying the chess pieces and getting the book as a suppliment it's not so bad. Plus it's being printed in such limited numbers, that will always drive the production costs up. The only thing they didn't have in box one was the chess board. I was hoping they would include it as I haven't the foggiest if I still have a board. ::shrugs::

The book is pretty decent, it's got interviews and a gallery of the different covers for Cardcaptor Sakura manga and DVDs. I may even pick up CS, it's much more interesting sounding than I originally thought.

OMG, you haven't read/seen CCS yet? Amy-chan, you HAVE to go out immediately and buy it! IMO, it's Clamp's best work -- the perfect balance of cute-sweetness, angst and pretty boys in luuuurve. And it has Yue. Mmmmm, Yue... *_*

hehe, I was already at the bookstore 3 times in two days. I need to give my debit card a rest. ::grin:: But I will go get them later. I've got a stack of about 10 books to get through first anyway.

Yeah, I skipped the series at the time because it was shoujo and at the time I could only be brought into shoujo kicking and screaming. And no one did that. However had I known there was pretty boy love in it, I would have jumped right on the CCS bandwagon.

BTW, do you have copies of the Naruto TV series. My brother wants to start watching it, but with it being licenced it's harder to get and Narutofan charges for downloads. >_

Never mind about Naruto. It dawned on me last night that you're probably wretchedly busy getting your house back in order. I have one other person I can ask.
