Whine, bitch, moan

kikoteiI didn't want to start talking about this here, because I didn't want to sound like I was whining. But damnit I really really hate school. And have so for the last 2 1/2 weeks. And I hate driving into New Haven, I got stuck in an approximately 4 mile traffic jam this morning that was caused by a simple fender bender. >_<
If I weren't this close ::holds fingers a little appart:: to graduating with my bachelors I would quit and transfer to one of the schools that allows you to do the entire ILS program online.
This all started in full force the week school started with a nasty confrontation between me and the secretary in the math department. Wouldn't have been so bad if she hadn't insisted on speaking to me like I was a complete and brainless twit, when all I wanted was a reasonable explination as to why seniors didn't get preferential treatment to get into classes they need to graduate.
Needless to say by the time I left the office I desparately wanted to throw the pretty little potted plants on her desk right in her face. Thankfully I restrained myself and went to my advisor's office for a good long cry. Which I haven't cried in years. I've gotten a little teary, but this was a full out I need-a-corner-to-curl in-and-die sorta cry. Icky.
Now I'm still not in this last required class I need and the teacher won't grade any of my materials or quizzes until this is straightened out. Bastard.
So much was the wank I deal with in this school, where most of the teachers care more about getting the next paycheck than they care about educating the students, that I spent the walk to the boonies where I'm forced to park my car everyday cursing the school and hoping the whole thing would go up in flames or something equally harsh.

I'm sorry, hon. I understand the desire to strangle the secretary for A. not only failing to give you a reason why seniors shouldn't get first crack at required courses and B. talking to you like you're an idiot.
It boggles my mind that your school doesn't allow seniors preferential selectionof required courses... there is something VERY backwards about that.
