kikoteiI just picked up the first DVD of it and I want to shake Koyasu and ask him what's going through his head with continuing the TV series.
However, the series, at least from the first five episodes is not a total wash yet.
Omi is Persia! Weee! I did kinda want to seem him out kicking butt. However I am perfectly willing to see him pulling all the strings now. And kind of a neat twist in passing on family responsibilities.
Plus there's the Aya/Omi fangirl in me going "Yay! That means Aya gets to screw the boss now!" eheheheh
And I like having Yamaguchi Kappei in the series. He makes a good Sena. Admittedly Sena is a whiny bitch and I wanna kick him. I like having Yamaguchi-san in the anime, so that makes up for Sena being a whiner. Plus the fact that by episode two or three it's painfully obvious the punk is an Omi clone. Weiß needs it's angst-ridden, family-tramatized teen.
I was upset about Kyo getting offed. I was starting to like that guy. Phooey.
However this leaves and opening for Ken and or Youji to come back.
I still want Omi kicking butt with Weiß, not just sitting in the dark in his office.
Also, I hope to put up a new book review by the end of the week. I'm just about finished and it's a good one for the subtext and slash fans. ::evil grin::
