Icon Dork and Early Presents

Well, I finally caved and started making myself some Crisis Core icons. There are still a few more captures I want to do off YouTube, so expect more. ^__^

I also succummed to the call of dork-tastic Zack and just ordered a PSP. The same special edition one that came with Crisis Core that I cancelled the order on. I decided that since it was still available I would make it an early birthday present to myself. So there. And it was a little cheaper this time around.

I'm also accepting porny things and porny recs if anyone should feel so generous. I have a feeling I'm going to need it in a week and a half.

Plans of all sizes

Today is a perfect day to write, the humidity is tolerable and while everyone is home, they seem to be leaving me to my own devices today.

However I haven't cleaned my room in ages. >_< So cleaning rampage (minus dealing with the spiders, that can wait til my next day off) and then attempting to write because I need write for that challenge, the three month deadline is upon me far faster than I gave it credit for.

Spoiled plans

I was planning to write this afternoon, but I got screwed. I wound up dragged outside to pull more pachysandra (it started to grow back where I pulled it last time) and then just as I was about done with that, Dad took out the chainsaw and took out two bushes in my way. O.o 

Then Mom saw the chainsaw and demanded the removal of a tree in the side yard, so I had to play spotter and make sure Dad didn't squish himself (he nearly did the last time he was taking down a tree -_-). And just went I thought I was done for the day, Mom declaired we needed to go get more paint for downstairs and hauled me two towns away to buy more. And I was foolish enough to say I would at least tape up the downstairs for painting. Bugger.

I'm going to try to write, but my back is sore from wedging myself under shrubbery.
