Rabid clock watching
Nov. 22nd, 2006 11:35 pmI made a pie. It's in the oven. I haven't made a a pie from scratch (or near scratch) since I was, like, 6. I learned a lot of really cool things before Kindergarten. ^_^;; So sad that I've forgotten most of them now. hee.
I was going to attempt something new and cool, but seeing as I haven't made pie in so long, I opted to just make a plain apple pie. So much for the walnuts and the caramel. I guess I'll just have them on my ice cream.
The only thing with my pie that might be a problem is the sheer size of the damn thing. It's mighty tall and I was using a regular pie tin. Hmmm, I guess I should have stopped at 5 apples and not done that last apple and a half. And if I should ever feel the urge to make apple pie again like that, I am SO buying one of those uber cool coring widgets.
