Yep. Offered and did go out and shovel for my mother in the 6 degree weather and wickly blowing snow.

'Tis very very cold out there. And a bowl of soup later, I'm just about warmed back up. My legs are still a little cold though.

I know it's possible, especially with my crappy computer... but how on earth did I wind up with only 150mb left of harddrive.

Damn, now I *really* do need to use all those rewriteables I bought and clear out all my larger files. Pictures and music. Which really bites, because my comp can't read rewriteables anymore.

Salvaged for the time being

Well, I still need to get rid of some files. I think tomorrow afternoon I'll hit radioshack or strawberries and pick up some Music CD-Rs and dump all my mp3 and wav sound files onto discs that I can actually get to play in my computer. I rarely listen to MP3s on my computer anymore anyway. Typically I grab a CD and take it with me in the car.

Fact remains that I still need a new computer. ::eyes the beastly contraption carefully::
