Stupid but amusing

The other day at work C and I proved how very out of it we can be after a couple hours upstairs.

One of the ladies from downstairs buzzed up looking for a DVD that she couldn't find. It was supposed to be in, but she wanted to make sure  I didn't have it set aside for repair. We had her on speaker so both C and I were listening and both of us will swear to our daying days it sounded like the title of the DVD was 'Cooters'.

Now I've put more than half of the films we own in the system and I've handled all of them in various inventory projects over the last few years and 'Cooters' is not a title I recall. But we have some wierd shit, so I gave it a shot and tried to check the records and just could not find it. So we buzzed back and tried to covertly ask how to spell it. 

She had actually been asking for 'The Tudors'......

'Cooters' is now the word I use to send C into fits of giggles. I was so tempted to use it to knock her out the window later that night when the two of us were leaning dangerously out to see if we could trace that burning smell. 

Also, there was no AC upstairs today. With the temp around 90 and the humidity at soul sucking levels, you can guess how happy I was to be there.
