What a concert!!
Aug. 10th, 2003 10:02 pmSeeing TMR perform live was simply the best concert ever. I went to see him Saturday at Otakon and I'm still on a high from it.
He is one of the best live performers I've seen. He honestly looked like he was having as much fun as we were. And as I understand it, the 5 or so thousand in the ballroom is a small group for him, he usually does arenas. So I imagine he was a bit nervous and worried about how well he would be recieved. He didn't have to worry, the audience was chanting for him before too long.
I felt a bit bad for Kristine Sa, who opened for him. It's tough having to open for some one that big, when you're so new on the music scene. But she did very well and despite the audience being a bit antsy every one was very polite while she was on stage. I may have to dig up some of her CDs, she's a gorgeous woman with a lovely, lovely voice. That maybe part of why people behaved, the fanboys were smitten with her.
I've never been so tired after a concert though. I was on my feet the whole time, dancing, screaming, and clapping and waving my hands. Which was hellish with that costume on, the sleeves weighted a ton. Ouch! My shoulders were sore. I'm still a bit sore.
The show was taped by a TV crew from Japan for release in Japan, and I'm pretty sure some one from that camera crew was filming Sakka-chan and I dancing and generally behaving like fangirls. Maybe we'll wind up in the concert tape. ^__^
While we were in line for autographs, some guy snapped a pic of Sakka-chan and I in costume. Amy thought it looked like some one she spotted hanging out with the other Japanese media people. Cool ^_____^;;
