And Otakon was fun. Had trouble on and off with my Wolfram costume. Not on the level of wardrobe malfunctions, more like wardrobe annoyances. I lost some buttons, the leather cross strap was playing games, and we won't even go into the horrors of the belt and the wig.

I'll let you all decide for yourselves though. This was from Friday late morning (third pic down), while everything was in one piece, except for the wig. Damn you wig and your tendancy to slip! Sakka-chan, you took my good wig-fu to Tokyo with you. I did have fun though, I don't think I got my picture snapped more in any other costume. I did however avoid the groping this year, go me!

As far as purchases this year, I was okay. Until I bent to the power that is Minekura and bought this piece from Sasuga that was framed and signed. Don't even think about asking me how much it cost. I will speak no more of that horror to my bank account. Minekura really does own my fangirly soul, Sakka-chan. ^__^;;;

Jo-chan, I loaded up all of the old icons for you. There's another one that I came up with on the ride back to Hydra's place, I just need her to scan the pic for me. ::pointed looks at Hydra::

It's also been proved that I still suck at shooter games. Tried playing RE4 at Hydra's. Admittedly, I got pretty far. Farther than apparently Hydra made without the cheat codes. But I didn't even get to cross the bridge into the village before I got poked to death with something sharp. Pooh. I think my problem is that I can't aim for shit and I always manage to panic when the baddies come at me and I flip the stick the wrong way and end up looking at the purty clouds in the sky. -_-;;

PS, I need more Ouran... the twins pwn all. Yay for carefully crafted implied twincest!

You looked great! I have to say that it's nice to see someone who put enough effort into making the whole costume look correct. So many people look good until you get to the shoes. Your boots were perfect. Excellent job!

Awesome costume -- those boots totally rock! ^_^ I thought of you all at Otakon as I was throwing back a few beers at the izakaya in Karuizawa this weekend. (Yes, you read that correctly -- beers. I'm drinking beer. What is happening to me? ^_^;;)

aww look at you, you're so cute!

I think it came out really good. nice colors, spot on.

Good job... I like the little extra with prop... but where's your man? Didn't Sakkachan go to Otakon this year? I thought she'd be going as Yuuri

Thank you. I notice that too about a lot of costumes. People forget about the shoes and run around in their sneakers. Some parts of me wish I had forgotten too. My poor feet are ever so blistered. ^____^;;;

Is it at least good beer? Totally missed you at the con. Wasn't quite the same without you. ::hugs:: Maybe next year, swords and all?

BTW, I fixed the Minekura pic so you can see what I blew considerable sums on.

Thanks. ^_^

Extra prop came about just incase I couldn't get to the sword. Which it turned out to be a good idea.

Sakka-chan's in Japan.

Nyar! Glad you made it back home in one piece (and hopefully in a timely fashion!)

Thanks for 'gently' reminding me to scan the you-know-what piccie. :P

BTW, I have a few pics of you. Will endeavor to upload them shortly.

And my feet still hurt. ::whine::

Pics ::dances::

BTW, the Ouran disc didn't work. ;_;

I don't think it's a matter of + or - issues, as I found information in the manual on both types of discs, I think it's more a matter of being burned for use in a DVD player. Simply put, I think DivX doesn't like my DVD player.

I'm going to try using it on my brother's 'puter, as he has it wired through to the TV and then see if I can beat the DVD burner on some one's computer to player re-burn it.
