This is from the TokyoPop Panel at AnimeExpo as reported by AnimeonDVD.com. Some one on the Loveless comm reported this.

I'm liking some of the new stuff listed for upcoming and recent acquisitions:

-Saiyuki Reload (I've had mine preordered for almost 2 months, heh)
-Kingdom Hearts (which is very cute, I may just buy it)
-Loveless (o.O..... cool, I never thought that would happen)
-BussGamer (yay! Minekura! Can we hope Wild Adapter is next)
-Gravitation novels (now I don't have to dig up the originals)

And they're starting a Boy Love line with Earthian, Love Mode, and Wild Rock. w00t!

That was just about my reaction. Including the writhing with joy. I've had a used copy of Wild Rock for sometime, but it will be nice to have an english version I can read without having to turn on the computer. ^___^

I'll be happy to have Earthian too. The manga is pretty, but way hard to follow.

I didn't think anyone was gonna even touch loveless, much less translate it into English. I'm wondering how many people will be up in arms about that one.

Same here, but Loveless is even more shota than Wild Rock. I'm shocked and amused to see Loveless get picked up. Wild Rock you can futz with the ages a bit. Loveless isn't obvious Ritsuka is all of 12 and hanging out with a 20 year old. heh

I think it's that "It's not shota, it runs in a shounen magazine" crap that people are clinging to that probably helped that along. All I see is a grown man kissing a twelve year old every other chapter, but if people's denial gets it published so be it. ^.^

::giggles:: If that's what it takes to get an english version out, then let them live in their denial. I'll just enjoy the kissing and the idea that when Ritsuka is legal, Soubi will probably jump him. ::cackle::

Interesting that they're doing the Gravitation novels. Now, what I'd like to see them do is have someone do novelizations of the Sound Story drama CDs. I'd love to see some version of those officially available in English. (I *don't* want them to *record* the Sound Stories with the English voice actors unless they get a whole new cast, because their dub cast was terrible).

Yeah, a release of the sound stories with english transcripts. That would work for me.

Sound Story 1 I have pretty much figured out, even with my extremely limited language skills. 2 and 3 I've got reasonably figured out, but some of the finer details still escape me.
