The Tactics manga. I really, really do.

I picked up volume 1 on a whim the other day,and finally got around to reading it last night. It's wonderful slash fodder. If Kantaro and Haruka trade anymore little looks or innuendo somebody or something might just spontaniously combust. And that's just volume one. And it's not me either. I showed a couple pages to a friend at work and she starting snickering.

I wonder how the anime compares...

I love "Tactics," too... it's very good. ^.^

The anime is good... not quite as slashy or intricate as the manga, it glosses over a lot of stuff, but such is the nature of translating manga to anime.

I'm eagerly awaiting the next volume of the manga, but ADV has NOTHING on it's website about any more volumes and it's driving me nuts!

Yeah, I noticed that too. I just took a look at the Anime on DVD site and ADV only has releases, both anime and manga listed through March 1. So here's to hoping it's a mid mid to late March release. ::crosses fingers:: I can wait that long... I think...

I was kind of hoping it would be a monthly book (I did find Tactics 1-5 in the Dealer's Room at OtakuCon - in Japanese) so it's not like they have to wait for more tankoubon to come out.

I sent a comment about the publishing schedules for Tactics, but never got a reply.

ADV has a couple of books that come out like that... Kagerou Nostalgia is another one. It only has 2 tankoubon and volume 1 has been out since August!

Yes, please. I would very much like to take a look at the anime before I even think about committing myself to buying it when the DVDs finally come out.

I was starting to wonder whether or not you had found the series yet. Especially with Haruka and his lovely black wings. ::purrrr::

I most love the prophet chapter when Kantaro leans over a slightly drunk Haruka and just about leers at him and Haruka fingers the beads around Kantaro's neck.

And I rather like the series. It's not as good as the manga, but at least now I have a better idea of exactly what errors were made in the manga translation.
