Alive and Breathing
Apr. 20th, 2003 12:54 amHeh, it's a miracle. Of course I couldn't talk above a whisper for three days.
Went to work Thursday afternoon and stopped in the Tech office when a couple of my supervisors asked me how I was. After listening to me croak out "I've been better" one asked if I was going to have to resort to hand signs all night. Much evil laughter ensued, mostly from my coworkers, I couldn't laugh as my voice was gone and the overuse of tissues all week left my skin dried out and tight. The director knew what we were thinking and strictly forbid the use of hand signs, I offered to use the dryerase board instead. ::smirk::
My voice is nearly back to normal, thank goodness. I'm still really hoarse and at least an octave lower than normal. Soon I will return to tormenting the town by singing along to Jpop driving down main street. ::grin::
