Didn't spend as much time as usual this week and this weekend. I did a massive clean up of my room/workspace. Still have loads to go, but now I can run my sewing machine again and work on my new costumes. Which will also eat up time from working on cross-stitch. ;_;

Not as much done as I might have otherwise accomplished. This was a rough week. Monday night we lost our older cat, Silver. Then Tuesday through Thursday I was dealing with a sore back after busting my butt all week at work. So sad and sore was just not good.

I completed another page this week, bringing the total to 8 out of 37. Whee ::exhausted::.

Also to note I completed this section in just about 2 months, a new record. Normally a full page takes closer to three months to complete.

So, the mostly-super-secret-experimental project is DONE. Mostly. Enough that I'm gonna post it. ^_~ I have a little patch work to do. The sewing machine is still in the shop, so I picked up a cheapo handheld stitchy thing. It's okay, but not easy to use and hard to control.

Anyway, the experimental portion of this project was using waste canvas on non-evenweave material. In this case a mini messenger bag. Waste canvas is just barely held together with water soluble glue. So a pair of tweezers and a whole lot of patience to pick the canvas apart and out of the design and tada!

This is a day by day thing, so it is a bit picture heavy.

But enough of that... on to Nightwing!

Not as much done this week as I had planned. I was going to use the long weekend to binge on movies I hadn't seen yet and sew until my fingertips bleed. But things rarely go as planned. Biggest problem was that I managed to break my sewing machine... again.If I can get it repaired cheap, awesome. If I can't I'll need to pick up a new one, and that was money I wasn't looking forward to spending.

Plus I'm also working on a super-duper-secret test project. With any luck I'll get it done this week.
