Many things to do

Like painting the house and writing. Which shall I do tomorrow on my day off? I suppose it will all depend on the weather and if I get out to the store all the frickin' way on the other side of town to buy latte making stuff.

Also, I FAIL at microphones. I went in early to help my boss figure out the set up on our shiny new equipment. I had the speakers plugged in, the power on the mixer on, the masters and the channel volume up to suitable starting levels, everything should have been working. But nothing, no sound from the mic. Bugger. After several panicy moments fiddling with the wires and flipping through the shitty manual it dawns on me.

I forgot to turn on the microphone itself. >_<

Anyway, I'm going to attempt to get some writing done right now. While I still have an hour of reasonably coherent left.
