KKM mini-marathon
Feb. 21st, 2005 11:07 pmI watched from episode 6 to episode 23 or so of Kyou Kara Maou over the weekend. And I've come to a conclusion.
This show is pure crack.
Yep. Crack. Every episode makes me laugh hysterically. Even when everyone is *trying* to be serious. Somebody, usually it can be traced back to something Yuuri did, does something silly almost every five minutes or less. Plus there's the fact that if this were any other fantasy anime, it would have been a girl in Yuuri's place. It would have been Miaka or Hitomi, etc, but instead you end up with a bishounen. Then there's all the innuendo, and liberal flinging about of the royal thong/bikini underwear. And of course don't forget that through a cultural misunderstanding, Yuuri winds up engaged to Wolfram, the show's other bishounen.
I now have much love for KKM. And it's a welcome break from the angst fest that is FMA.
